A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
It is a time of hope for the Empire. The stain of the Jedi Knights has almost been scoured from the face of the galaxy by the noble Darth Vader and his loyal servants. Acting on information received from Imperial agents that have infiltrated Rebel cells, a member of the Imperial Guard has been despatched to the far off jungle planet of Mallear, on the far reaches of the Outer Rim, to seek out and destroy one of the few remaining Jedi scum.
Since then, all contact has been lost with the Guard and the advance team sent to secure the area and construct a base. Embroiled in a conflict on the far side of the galaxy, Lord Vader has ordered a battalion of Stormtroopers fresh from the academy to secure the site, pending his arrival.
Star Wars: Redemption is a single session tabletop for four loyal Stormtroopers, eager to do the Empire's bidding, set a year or so prior to the events in A New Hope. This game was run/experimented on/insinuated at Dwarfcon 2004, and ran previously at Arcanacon 2005.

Seriously guys, this is my 'nice' game.
Really.
Even kids can play this one.
Look - I rated it PG.
Guys?
