Mandor Head of the party, Mandor is elegant and poised, never at a loss for words. Whether by design, or as a by-product of an elegant life-style, Mandor receives each Trump call as it was staged, every detail as if it was selected for effect and good taste. Indeed Mandor always maintains a cool demeanour, no matter what he might be facing. A consummate politician and diplomat, he is also an accomplished sorcerer. His steel balls make him able to cast spells at will, seemingly without preparation. Just remember, if Mandor says you're his friend, it probably means he's got plans for you Despil The eldest son of Dara of Chaos and Lord Sawall of Chaos, Despil was once described as a cipher. In the ongoing bickering between his eldest brother Merlin, and his baby brother Jurt, Despil sort of gets lost in the shuffle. The big question is: does Despil enjoy being the Invisible Man? Perhaps he doesn't like the politics and squabbling, and is quite happy helping rather than hindering. Or perhaps he's really harbouring a mass of frustration and anger. Who knows? Not that it matters much. Regardless of Despil's true intentions, he may remain hidden for a long time to come. Jurt Jurt is brash, and makes a lot of mistakes. But remember he's young. Besides, with a Mother like Dara, and being the youngest son of Lord Sawall means people expect a lot from you. To put it bluntly, he doesn't want the kind of responsibility that comes with running House Sawall or the Courts of Chaos. Merlin Oldest son to Lady Dara of Chaos before her marriage to Lord Sawall, Merlin is something of an enigma. Given a gentleman's upbringing in the Courts, with knowledge of Magic, weapons, poisons, riding and dancing. Also heir to a number of major titles, Merlin doesn't want them. Merlin has no ambitions, except for satisfying his own curiosity. And currently his curiosity has been aroused... Gilva Tall, dark-eyed, and mercurial, Gilva can go from flirtatious and demure to serious and martial in the blink of an eye. An old and intimate friend of Merlin's, Gilva comes off as a cross between a friendly teenager and a battle-hardened commando, good-natured but always ready for trouble - and always conscious for where here duty lies. *Dara Mother to Merlin, Despil and Jurt, and wife to Lord Sawall of Chaos, the Mad Woman of Chaos can be a feisty looking teenager or a six foot tall demon, depending on the situation.
